Vancouver born and raised, Jen has trained internationally establishing her
place as a top female Hip Hop choreographer, instructor, and dancer. Her unique
and creative choreography and strong and dynamic freestyle sets her apart
and keeps her in demand.
Jen’s credits include working with Janet Jackson, dancer choreographer
Tina Landon and Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake dancer Kelly Kono. She’s
been in music videos for K-OS and Moka Only, opened for Talib Kweli and The
Roots and freestyled for Hugo Boss; Choreographed, performed and modeled in
shows for Vancouver Fashion Week, Ed Hardy, Miss Sixty, and Stella Artois;
been featured in commercials for Coca Cola, Kohl’s, Z95.3FM and T.V
series “Eurika”; worked on the television show “The L Word”
and “The Romeo Show”, been a featured dancer in movies “White
Chicks”, “Cinderella Story 2” and “Kickin It Old Skool”.
She is also the founder/director of, Stonefoxx Dance Crew, one of Canada’s
top all female hip hop crews.
Jen’s dance style can be described as diverse, energetic and fluid,
her stage presence as captivating, vibrant and expressive and her classes
are entertaining, passionate and challenging. Her talents in dance not only
involve Hip Hop, Freestyle, House dance, Whacking, and Old School but also
Salsa, Street Jazz, Contemporary, Lindy Hop, and West Coast Swing.
If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to move your hips and shake what your mama gave you,
then this is the class for you! Foxxy Hip Hop is a fresh take on the style of female hip hop
dancing. It’s strong, rugged, sexy, fun and challenging. Don’t be afraid to indulge and enjoy
yourself. This class teaches both the rawness of street dance and the sexiness of being ghetto
fabulous. This class is for all types of people! Female or male you’ll have a great time
learning to work it out on the dance floor!
One of the oldest forms of urban partner
dancing, Lindy Hop, in Jen’s opinion, is the hip hop of partner dancing! It’s
fun, stylish, and soulful. In this workshop you will get to dance to timeless
jazz artists like Ella Fitzgerald to funky upbeat musicians like the Big Bad
Voodoo Daddies. This class an excellent introduction to swing for anyone!
The youngest form of swing dance, West Coast Swing (WCS) is one of the only
forms of partner dancing that can be taken out to the clubs! Contrary to popular
belief, WCS is not just something your parents do! In this swing workshop
you will learn that WCS is full of groove, funk and freestyle! This dance
can be taken anywhere! Do it in the club or at a wedding. Come see what its
all about.
